In light of the tragic assault on the students of Duel Academy, I have dispatched a crew of helicopters for immediate full evacuation of the island. KaibaCorp will be working with the police to conduct a full investigation of the occurrences before the school will reopen.

After a complete system scan and total overhaul of the Solid Vision computers, we have determined there are no problems with our systems. The recent Duel Monsters appearances have nothing to do with KaibaCorp. We are looking into the cause of the matter now, however.

These monster appearances will not affect the opening of the Duel Technical Institute. The schedule will remain unchanged.

To all students: The monorail will resume running to Duel Academy island in one week. You may return to pick up your belongings then.

Classes will resume then as well. However, they are strictly optional. If you wish to resume the end-of-year classes, you must bring a signed permission form from your legal guardian. Forms can be picked up in the hotel lobby.

In the aftermath of this recent crisis, I have a few announcements.

Class is canceled for the next week. Students, take time off, recover... Hell, have a party.

Staff, you're also all being given a week's worth of paid vacation to do what you want. You guys have a party too.
